Can’t find a specific answer yet, but “synchronized display” of fans in the bleachers of a stadium could work.
This is a way to do it with clothing too:

Question by art: How do i create and draft a floor plan and then using that to build a 3 dimensional scale model of that house?
Ok i am doing a project for school.
The floor plan is for the house in the book “The House Of Dies Drear” and since the house has tunnels i dont know how to do that.
And then using that floor plan i need to construct a 3 dimensional scale model of the house.
So if you can help me with that to that would be GREAT!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Answer by happyjumpyfrog
Do the floor plan first. One for each floor and if you can on e of a ‘basement’ where the tunnels will be. It will need to be done to scale. If you only know where the tunnels come out then that is fine. Build your house on a base that can be lifted up (like houses on stilts in Thailand.) Then use plastic tubing for the tunnels, then will be under the house but you can see them. If you don’t want to do that then do an ordinary house and just put where the entrance and exits are for the tunnels.

Question by himynameisherman: How does the pentatonic scale work?
I only know that there is a specific shape for it which was starting on the low E string, 1-4, 1-3, 1-3, 1-3, 1-4, 1-4. Other than there where else are the notes for the pentatonic scale? Lets say for instance starting on the 5th fret of the Low e string.

Question by erantha: What is the rating scale I should consider as the country rating from Moody’s?
The top three rating agencies provide different kind of ratings on countries. S& P and Fitch provides only one scale (for sovereigns) i.e.
S&P – Sovereign rating foreign currency Long term
Fitch – Sovereign rating foreign currency Long term
However, Moody’s provides two different kinds of ratings as follows:
•Government Bonds – Foreign currency long term (& Domestic currency long term)
•Country Ceilings for foreign currency (Bonds & Notes and Bank deposits)
Therefore what is the rating I should consider as the country rating from moody’s?

Question by |||ALL TRUE|||: Why do scientist scale the very small on the meter scale?
Example: “Tech companies are making silicon chips with transistors with features just 32 billionths of a metre wide.”
Why not use millimeter scale? I can imagine the tiny scale easier than trying to divide up a large length.
Best answer:
Answer by Elana
Generally, scientists use metric rather than the English Standard system.
It is easier to use, more universal, etc.
The US is one of a very small number of countries that use anything OTHER than metric. Certainly all of Europe, the pacific rim, etc use metric measurements.

Question by evileye322: What is the YA series and grade and pay scale for a government job?
What is the YA series and grade and pay scale for a government job? Where can I find out more info on the YA scale? I was looking for government jobs, and I understand the GS scale, and I searched for GS jobs in my range that I would be able to get, and some jobs are YA, not GS. I’m just wondering if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks

Question by Rick C: can you imagine an earthquake that will break the richter scale?
I mean a real superquake of 10 on the richter scale, or even larger? With global warming, and other environmental factors, will a quake like that ever happen?
Best answer:
Answer by Positive Atheism I.Q = 133
It is entirely possible for a superquake to happen.
In 1960 (Chile) there was an earthquake that measured 9.5 on the richter scale.
If there was a major disturbance along the san andreas fault line is has been suggested a quake could reach over 10

Question by Cocoa Puff: How much is one serving of grits on a food scale?
I’m confused because the Quaker Grits box gives nutrition info for one serving DRY. I obviously won’t be eating dry grits and the water will add to the gram-count on my food scale. I used one cup of water per 1/4 cup of grits. So, how many grams should I REALLY be consuming to count it as one serving?
Best answer:
Answer by Uncle Grüber
whatever it says on the box – there’s no nutrition in the added water..
